ACTREAL takes a real world and practice based approach to learning & development, helping people to be authentic in their interactions. Fundamentally we coach people to enhance their confidence and executive or leadership presence, empowering them to stand behind their ideas and present comfortably, peacefully yet passionately. Presence goes far beyond mere presentation skills (although presenting is an important component); they include exploration of the impact of body language, self confidence, style, values, storytelling, emotional control, behaviour, relationships, demeanour, communication & personal engagement. Our coaches draw on skills and techniques from the world of performance and acting, supported by leadership fundamentals. We help people convey strength and confidence through body language, vocality, communication of their authentic self and being present in the moment. Our approach is practical & focussed on real world application, blending skills practice with exploration of personal and behavioural elements. We are not only actors, we are coaches and facilitators with real world, industry and leadership experience. Of course ACTREAL does offer actors too! Role play and simulations are a particular area of expertise at ACTREAL. Our involvement has been with training and development and also selection and assessment. Bring us in as part of your training programs or workshops, for skills practice, to help with coaching, assess a candidate, perform a scene or even film a video. Our role plays are realistic, challenging and pitched at a level that meets the needs of the program or situation. Working with external facilitators or HR we offer the design as well as the delivery of realistic role play scenarios to enhance your program outcomes. Whether it be one on one coaching, small group workshops, specially designed programs, skills practice sessions or role plays, ACTREAL can help with anything ‘communication', putting presence into practice.
