ACU Food Technology Services (ACU) is a consulting company specializing in facilitating innovation, developing new food technologies, and improving existing processes for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). With the goal of attaining economic and environmental sustainability, one of our focus areas is on plant-based ingredients such as oil, protein, starch, fiber, and bioactive components. ACU will aim to develop infrastructure and processes with zero-waste outcomes and will collaborate with food technology centers across North America and other countries to execute projects. ACU has over twenty-five years of experience working in the agri-food industry, conducting and managing many industry-driven food processing research anddevelopment projects, including extraction and concentration of high-value components from fruits, vegetables, grains, oilseeds, and co-product valorization. ACU has expertise in extraction and fractionation technologies with extensive experience in many unit operations ranging from prototype development to pilot scale processes.
