About our courses. Acute Medical Training (AMT) has a course to suite all levels. Our courses suit all requirements for places such as schools, factories, hotels shopping centres leisure centres, nursing homes etc. We also cater for community organisations that are setting up Public Access Defibrillator programmes (PAD) and courses for the general public. We also cater for the medical profession. In short our courses range from basic cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Lectures,Workshops and Demonstrations Apart from courses Acute Medical Training (AMT) give lectures, workshops, talks and demonstrations on various subjects. Because of the varied expertise we can tailor make a workshop, lecture or demo to suit ones needs. These can take the form of Accident Management in the home or work or at the roadside, First Aid, Fire & Water Safety and cardiology. Every request is discussed at length regarding the type of lecture and age group it is intended for. In a situation where schools are concerned it may be necessary to demonstrate certain skills to get the message clearly across. Most of our lectures and workshops are DVD driven or Power point demonstratedAdvice & Supply of equipment Because Acute Medical Training is involved in a number of community projects, we are constantly asked to advise on the purchase of equipment. While we do not endorse and particular product, we do however know what's out there. We discuss all products and give our clients a somewhat clearer picture which can often save a considerable amount of money. It is important that you buy only what you need and buy the best. Remember the dearest product may not always be the best. AMT also supply First Aid equipment and training aids. These can be ordered at any of our courses or on our website.
