AD-Invaders started developing games for businesses in 2006.The company rapidly became one of the rare pure player using 3D real-time engines (Virtools, 3DVia, Unity3D) and game techniques in order to promote brands or products.Among its clients were TOYOTA, VW GROUP, DASSAULT SYSTEMES, UNILEVER, BIC or LVMH.The company was sold in 2015 to the advertising group Revolution9.It's spin-off Serious Factory, born in 2007 was dedicated to virtual showrooms before repositioning its business towards 'serious gaming' and training simulations.In 2009, AD-Invaders was one of the 3 companies highlighted by the French government (thanks to Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, state secretary for the Development of the Digital Economy) for the "Serious game call for project" which launched the serious gaming trend in France.
