Formed in 2015, Adaapta is a Woman-Owned Small Business Enterprise that builds on its founders, Mary Hashem's, 30+ years of experience as an environmental consultant, risk management expert, and brownfield developer. Adaapta's mission is to share perspective and expertise in the real estate and brownfields industries with government entities, non-profits, real estate developers, and investors to ensure well-positioned, successful redevelopment projects. We approach the remediation and development process holistically, intertwining the appropriate remedial approach with a feasible and attainable redevelopment plan.We provide environmental expertise to help inform remedial strategy, educate stakeholders about environmental challenges, and provide suggestions for reuse.We help communities come up with innovative funding strategies that combine public sector financing tools with private equity.We provide multiple planning services, including entitlements assistance, master planning, conceptual site planning and preliminary yield studies, and community outreach.
