The Academy is an internationally orientated training centre for helicopter pilots, available for all EC135, EC145 and H145 operators (air rescue, police, off-shore, VIP, military etc) worldwide.We also offer doctors and paramedics (TCM) integrated training options in realistic HEMS scenarios.We offer the following supporting training options and services:• Extended CBT-training (Computer Based Training) for the EC135, EC145 and H145• Sophisticated system trainer for the EC135 and Avionic Desktop Trainer for H145 with touch screen technology;• IOS Training – depending on the volume of agreed flight hours this is free of charge;• Briefing und De-Briefing rooms, customer offices and a lounge;• Catering service, free „high-speed" Internet, online booking tool;• …Head office: Airfield Bonn-Hangelar, Sankt Augustin, GermanyThe HEMS Academy is conveniently located:• Close proximity to Cologne-Bonn and Düsseldorf airports;• Only one hour from Frankfurt airport by car or by intercity train (ICE).Participants can also fly directly to the Academy's doorstep at Bonn-Hangelar airfield with a small plane or helicopter.The nearby cities Cologne and Bonn, as well as the Rhine river area offer many attractions and things to do in between training.
