Adalante was a grassroots technology integration firm that was started from the living room of the co-founder's home, Wade Foxworth, with the direction of co-founder, Gary Houston, and blossomed into the a top five integration company named in Austin Business Journal. Adalante progression was due in part to the early adoption of managed services that is seen in practice today by many vendors. In conjunction with support from vendors the company was able to provide low cost solutions offering customers the choice of GNU licensed products over standard product licensing. In the early adoption phase Adalante integrated solutions had included a broad range of technical, social media, and web presence creation and support. With the help of partners and employees Adalante was one of the few originators to bring services, that is customary in enterprise environments, to the small and medium size companies.
