Adams Metals is well renowned for providing analysis, advice and technical support to organisations worldwide. Adams Metals core business is acting as agents for producers marketing molybdenum, rhenium, tungsten and tantalum products.Founding director Terry Adams established Adams Metals both in England and in Germany. September 1980 Adams Metals opened in Düsseldorf, Germany remaining in operation until June 1993 at which point all the business was transferred to Adams Metals Ltd in London, England which had been opened in March 1982. Between the years of 1980 and 1994 Adams Metals was the sales agent in Central Europe for Corporation Del Cobre (Codelco, Chile). During the years 1989 through 2009 Adams Metals acted as the sales agent for Molibdenos y Metales (Molymet, Chile) for a variety of its molybdenum products in several markets on both sides of the North Atlantic and for rhenium worldwide. Adams Metals is a family business. In 2008 son and daughter of Terry Adams took directorship of the company. All directors have received recognition most recently by Who's Who. Adams Metals is a member of the International Molybdenum Association, the International Tungsten Industry Association and the Minor Metal Trade Association.
