Adaptive Ascent was founded in the Fall of 2021. We engineer mechatronic adaptive climbing solutions which are scalable and easy to use. These solutions are created to drive the availability of accessible climbing. Our flagship product is MoonClimb, an adaptive climbing device that allows more climbers to experience the challenge of ascending a wall using the climbing holds. The concept for MoonClimb originated as a project of the Adaptive Technology Engineering Network (ATEN) at Oregon State University in 2020.
