Accounting - McAllen, Texas, United States
"Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the Treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes."~ Judge Learned HandAdaptive tax planning (ATP) was started to fill what we believe is a need in the Rio Grande Valley. ATP is unique because we only offer tax planning. As an Enrolled Agent, I have full representation rights in front of the IRS, but we believe not offering tax prep, tax resolution, accounting, or bookkeeping allows us to focus on proactive tax planning strategies. We started our practice because we would often hear clients say things like, "We already have a CPA," and often times, we'd still find missed tax planning opportunities. We believe the majority of time this happens due to miscommunication. For example, a tax professional might not offer tax planning because they were only engaged to prepare a tax return. This is one of the reasons why we only offer one service.Additionally, we'd often hear clients not want to engage a tax professional or implement recommendations for fear of increased fees. We have taken that barrier off the table by offering one flat fee.Since documentation is important with many tax planning strategies, we include it in our engagements.Information on this profile is not intended to be a substitute for specific individualized tax advice. We suggest that you discuss your specific tax issues with a qualified tax advisor.IRS Circular 230 Notice: To ensure compliance with requirements imposed by the IRS, we inform you that any U.S. tax advice contained in the entries in this blog (including any attachments) is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, for the purpose of (i) avoiding penalties under the Internal Revenue Code or (ii) promoting, marketing or recommending to another party any transaction or matter addressed herein.
