ADK's began as a small medical clinic with a single doctor and an attached pharmacy that was opened in 1987 under the name "Mediclinic". Today, ADK is first and foremost synonymous of quality private health care in the Maldives, though its interests and activities have begun to diversify in recent years. The Company is proud to be the pioneer of the first private hospital in the country ADK Hospital, which was commissioned in 1996. The 50-bed multi-specialty Hospital is equipped with state-of the-art diagnostic facilities, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
