For 28 years we have managed the day-to-day operations of the Adopt A Highway® and Sponsor A Highway® Programs across the nation. In 1990 AHMC pioneered the public-private partnership model underlying Adopt A Highway® and Sponsor A Highway® programs when it helped successfully launch the first-ever model in California. Since then, we have provided over $100M in highway and beach beautification services in 22 states, paid for by over 15,000 companies both large and small. 95% of all Department of Transportation (DOT) contracts procured remain in force today, and our partnerships have contributed to the removal of over 4.5 million pounds of trash.AHMC gives sponsors the opportunity to participate in unique, environmentally conscious, out of home marketing by supporting their customers and communities.
