In February 2010, Tom Otto, AAC Owner and President, purchased SEC Automation, Inc. and renamed the company Advanced Automation & Controls, Inc. The company is headquartered out of McHenry, Illinois. AAC's facility includes professional office space and a fully functional panel fabrication shop. AAC serves a broad range of industries including Water and Wastewater, Natural Gas, Electric Utility, Consumer Products and Discrete Manufacturing. Within these industries, AAC provides a wide range of either Bid or Design/Build services, including all aspects of SCADA architecture layout, system integration, instrumentation, control system design, and electrical consulting and engineering. AAC is also the sole sourced Systems Integrator for a number of municipalities in the Chicago area providing numerous types of services from SCADA system contract maintenance to complete SCADA system design and implementation.
