Our Mission:Advanced Material Forming Research Center (AMFRC) works on a wide range of metal forming processes, such as hydroforming, sheet metal forming, deep drawing, bending, tube forming, super-plastic forming for high performance and ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our mission is to carry out cutting-edge research into constitutive models, damage and anisotropy through industrial collaboration and international cooperation. The key research is related to push the boundary of knowledge and technology regarding the effect of microstructure evolution on damage and defect during metal forming processes. Advanced process and system modeling such as FE simulation, multiscale modeling and optimization approaches are used to investigate above area of science.International Cooperation:We eagerly interested in strengthen collaboration with business, academia, and non-profit and government institutions across the globe and welcome any novel proposal with open arms. Please contact Porf. Bakhshi Jooybari (bakhshi@nit.ac.ir) if you have any questions regarding the academic collaboration.Industrial Collaboration:The Advanced Material Forming Research Centre (AMFRC) is an industrially-recognized center of excellence in innovative manufacturing technologies, R&D, and metal forming research. AMFRC has great experience in developing new approaches and innovative techniques to address the industrial needs. The center collaborates with some industrial sponsors to explore the frontiers of metal forming and modelling in the automobile, household appliances and toolmaking industries.Supervisors:● Prof. Mohammad Bakhshi-Jooybari (Head of Center)● Hamid Gorji (Head of Hydroforming Research Group)● Salman Nourouzi (Head of Hot Forming Research Group)● Seyed Jamal Hosseinipour● Mohammad Javad Mirnia● Alireza Fathi● Roohollah Jamaati● Mohammad Rajabi● Sayed Mahmood (Ramez) Rabiee● Hamed Jamshidi Aval
