Promote the Advancement of Blacks in Sports by working collectively to advocate for a culture of equity and inclusion in all aspects of sports that lead to racial, economic, and social justice.ABIS will collaborate to normalize equal rights and fair treatment of Black People by influencing institutional policies and practices, NCAA, federal and state legislation that promote racial equity and the Advancement of Blacks in Sports.We will take collective action to eliminate inequitable hiring practices, improve economic opportunities at sports events for minority-owned businesses, increase awareness of African American History, promote voter registration, education, and participation and advocate to protect our student-athletes and empower them to use their voices.
