Adventure Data is a start-up out of Boise, ID that focuses on bringing the outdoor community together by enhancing safety and the sense for adventure. We do this through the use of technology products that give users crucial data in real-time. Our first product is an advanced avalanche probe to be used by backcountry skiers, snowboarders, and snowmobilers. The "Lyte Probe" is a collapsible probe or ski pole probe that is used for snowpack analysis. By plunging the probe into the snow the user will obtain a visual representation of the different layers in the snowpack. The data will be visualized on the RAD app that will be available for free download with the purchase of the probe.We are currently busy prototyping and testing our probe, stay tuned to follow our development.
