Advisory Credit Maqnagement, Inc. (ACM) is a nonprofit organization which helps consumers filing bankruptcy achieve their credit counseling and financial management certifications, as required under the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2005. Our bankruptcy education is approved by the U.S. Trustee (agencies who administer these courses are obligated to be U.S. Trustee approved) and comes in two parts: a Credit Counseling Course that must be taken before filing, and a Debtor Education Course that must be complete before your bankruptcy discharge is entered. Once they are complete a short certification process will take place and then your bankruptcy certificate will be delivered electronically. Credit Counseling Course: The pre-filing Credit Counseling Course is a 90-minute interactive, web-based briefing. It provides graphics and feedback based on the personalized information you type in. This bankruptcy class is just $30, filing as an individual or with your spouse. Debtor Education Course: To increase your knowledge of budgeting and financial planning a 2-hour pre-discharge bankruptcy course is available. Advisory Credit Management makes this course easy to navigate online and easy to understand. The price for this bankruptcy class is just $49 for an individual or with your spouse.
