Documentary Wedding Photography in Cincinnati and beyond.I have been a working journalist, both as reporter and photographer, for more than 20 years. I'm currently part of the Pulitzer Prize-winning reporting staff at The Cincinnati Enquirer, where I cover unsolved murders. On the side, I'm also an author: My sixth nonfiction book is set for a February 2019 release. Being a crime writer and wedding photographer might sound like an odd mix, but in reality, it's a wonderful balance. I consider the two passions my professional yin and yang. When photographing, I work alongside my partner, an artist with a Master's degree in painting. Together, we dedicate ourselves to chronicling your day as honestly as possible. That means we aim to be as unobtrusive as we can be while capturing a mix of candid and staged photographs (with heavier emphasis on the candids). My photographs have appeared nationwide in publications such as The Detroit Free Press, the Sacramento Bee, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Seattle Times. Several of my crime scene photos aired in an April 17, 2009, Dateline NBC episode called "Disappearance at the Dairy Queen," for which I was also interviewed. My partner has shot for The Associated Press, and his photography work has appeared in several of my books. He and I enjoy shooting together -- and trust each other -- so much that we only book weddings we can both attend, ensuring your day is covered from just about every angle possible.
