AEON Project Details
AEON aims at identifying an innovative concept of operations focusing on engine-off taxiing techniques and a set of dedicated tools to support the collaborative decision making in airport operations. The project develops a tool that integrates fleet management algorithms and supervision interfaces to foster the introduction of greener taxiing operations.The project considers also the probable inception of a "taxiing supervision" role. The activities of this role would be to:● Fluidify the taxiing operations by taking into account the characteristics of each vehicle,● Manage fleets of additional vehicles such as tugs for non-autonomous a/c,● Manage real time ecological indicators to choose the best taxiing options.Within this framework, the Consortium and the Advisory Board will ease the development and implementation of the innovative concept of operations for fleet management on a ground level.
