AERON BAG S.L. is a young small-medium size Spanish enterprise founded in Valencia in 2011. The company was born from an extraordinarily idea of add-value for the aviation safety sector. The idea of AeronBag appeared thanks to Camilo Garcia and his extensive know-how and skills in the aviation sector with more than 20 years of experience at Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (also known as AENA). For this reason, Camilo with his entrepreneurial vision studied the application of the previously detailed mechanism and patented it internationally. The greater interest of driving the company into operation has motivated Camilo to pre-retired in 2013 with the aim of having enough time for the necessary managements. Throughout these years, Camilo together with Jon Ander with knowledge in commercial and IPR sectors have created and strengthened the core of the company to boost AeronBag. AeronBag is an airbag system to be incorporated in current seat backs, and consists of four main components: 1) Bag that fills with air, 2) Impact micro sensor sensitive to deceleration, 3) Electrochemical battery and finally, 4) Supply of air or gas from individual tanks to inflate the airbag during a crash event.
