Commercial/Residential Duct Sealing Aeroseal Of Connecticut is a commercial and residential duct sealing contractor. We are also a U.S. Green Building Council Member. Unlike other methods of sealing ventilation and heating/cooling ducting, Aeroseal Of Connecticut seals from the inside using the Aeroseal technology. Aeroseal is a safe UL tested and approved method of sealing both new and old ducting of all types. Aeroseal uses water based sealant particles and injects them into a duct system. The sealant does not coat the entire duct system, it only targets leaks. The technology was developed in 1994 within the Indoor Environment Program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, whose IAQ scientists tested it. The research was funded by US Environmental protection agency, US dept. of Energy, Electric Power Research Institute and California Institute of Energy and Environment. Aeroseal of Connecticut works with facilities to examine heating and cooling ducts as well as exhaust and ventilation systems. We also work with engineers and contractors to provide a cost effective solution to both new and old buildings.
