Aerotronic was established in 1976 as a sole propriety by Mr. LB Stoll, in Aeroton, Johannesburg, South Africa. Initially it was a small scale chemical blending and packing concern.By the early 1980's Aerotronic was filling aerosols and a second hand Pamasol machine was purchased in Germany. Larger premises were needed and property for a new building was purchased in Nancefield, Johannesburg where a 1000 m2 building was erected. Aerotronic continued to grow and prosper until 2001, when Lothar Stoll passed away.In July 2002, Mr. Stoll's son-in-law, Byron Muir took over the business and as a Tool and die maker, he was able to enhance the existing machinery to maximize production and build on the achievements of Mr. Stoll.By 2013 it was apparent that bigger premises were required and a 3700m2 factory was purchased in Chamdor, Krugersdorp.The move was complete in September 2014, and the company had installed a new fully automatic Zigler aerosol filling machine, purchased in Poland.Aerotronic continues to do small runs of aerosol cans from 120 units to larger runs of 100 000 units.Aerotronic produces cleaning products:for the industrial market – e.g. degreaser, hand cleaner, lubricants, cutting oils, Carbon removers,household and cleaning products – e.g. dish washing liquid, pine gel, general purpose cleaner, bleachcar care products – e.g. engine cleaner/degreaser, tyre shine, dash board spray
