African Future Champs Aquatics Academy (AFCAA) is a Non Profit Organization with a specific focus on long-term athlete development. We will develop our athletes and coaches from grassroots to Olympics levels. We offer a comprehensive development pathway to varying degrees of skill level of swimmers, coaches and administrators. We furthermore offer elite-level training and education, powered with support of Swimming South Africa and CANA. Together they are the continent's leading swimming bodies that spearheads the growth of the sport in South Africa and Africa.We also offer community-based programs and initiatives, aimed at making a meaningful impact into the community in which we serve while promoting the values of togetherness.The Non Profit organization AIMS to: • Promotion of water safety.• Promotion of water proficiency amongst learners.• Promotion of community engagement.• Promotion of social cohesion.• Liberation of the community.• Creation and establishment talent hubs.• Support and development promising talent.• Provision of a platform for the talent to be showcased.• The refurbishment and utilization of currently dormant and underutilized facilities.with the VISION of :• Promotion of swimming as an essential life skill to all junior scholars.• Realization of an increase in water competency levels in areas needed.• Establishment the biggest swimming academy with a core focus on providing access to previously disadvantaged individuals.• Converting the facilities into community-centric centres of hope.• Creation of meaningful, sustainable partnerships with all its stakeholders.• To be the largest swimming aquatic club the Eastern Cape births to Africa, with ties to international partners in the form of exchange programmes for our coaches and swimmers – this will be done in collaboration with local partners.• Hosting the largest annual charity event, which would further enhance visibility and promotion of the initiative.
