About Us: African Hope Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young Ugandans develop the skills they need to become leaders in their community, Our Philosophy: Our philosophy is that Ugandans are in the best position to solve the most pressing challenges facing their country. Since they have grown up with very problems that they hope to tackle, they have insight and ideas that people living outside of the community do not have access to. How We Work: We help young Ugandans become successful leaders by providing grants to invest in their projects and to support their personal leadership development. Our grants are unique. Our grants invest not only in the projects of these young leaders to improve their communities – educating orphans, building income-generating pig farms, and creating sustainable health clinics – they also invest in the development of each Ugandan leader by connecting them with training, consultations, and mentors to magnify their impact in the future. By empowering these young Ugandan leaders, we believe they will make a difference in their communities, in their countries, and ultimately, in the world at large.
