African Youth Academy is more than just an Academy. It is a Leadership Incubator, where the next generation of African Leaders are Identified, Developed and Deployed for African Development. The Academy is a signature effort of selected United States Government Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) Fellows, to change the narrative of African Leadership, by developing the next generation of African Leaders.The Academy is a place where African Youths can author their future and the future of the African Continent. African Youth Academy VISION:To build a sustainable and Developed African Continent through African Youth Leadership Development.African Youth Academy MISSION:To transform African Youths into leaders, and Leaders into agents of Transformational Change.African Youth Academy Target Audience:Our Target audience are aged 13 - 24 years.African Youth Academy VALUES:The African Youth Academy Values, spells CHANGE, Where: C represents our COMMITTMENT to our VISION, MISSION and to AFRICA. H represents the HOPE we bring to the African Continent through transformational Leadership. A represents ACCOUNTABILITY and as well reveal who we are accountable to, which are: Leadership, Donors, Partners and as well ourselves and more importantly, the Next Generation.
