2020 is the Year of African Diaspora. In celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day, African Youth Diaspora Organization is born. African Youth Diaspora Organization (AYDO) facilitates worldwide African Diaspora Youth to connect with the motherland and collectively empower the people of Africa and Her Diaspora within and outside of the continent.With 75% of African population being youths, and by 2030 every one in four global citizens being African, they are indisputably our future. "The people of Africa work hands in hands with worldwide diasporas to right the historical wrongs, move past what was, and build a prosperous future together."The African Diaspora consists of peoples of African origin living outside the continent, irrespective of their citizenship and nationality and who are willing to contribute to the development of the continent and the building of the African Union." -AU.int
