Afrikaiz Development is a young organisation full of energy made up of operations and finance practitioners who have been running the backbones of INGOs operating in South Africa for decades. We have taken the best of what we have learnt and are now applying it within a local South African Organisation.With the donor landscape changing and an increased emphasis on donors working directly with local implementing organisations, this is leaving a massive gap in award management and compliance. With many of the smaller NGOs not able to fully resource these back-office functions, why not rather pool resources and share these services across organisations, in effect creating economies of scale?It is within this context that Afrikaiz Development was established offering a range of both short-term and longer-term services to the NGO sector, all related to outsourcing the back-office support functions that are essential in the assurance of good donor fund management. Afrikaiz is composed of staff that have become experts in compliance to various different donor requirements and are ready to assist your organization by taking over the cumbersome back office operational work, or assist your own staff in a number of ways to improve upon these functions.Afrikaiz Development is also currently investing in technology solutions ranging from eLearning Modules to Grants Management and other back-office support databases and management systems enabling the NGO sector to operate more effectively. These are systems which have been designed based on decades of experience in the sector and for which ICT solutions are finally being tailor-made.
