We are a South African based company dealing in processing and export of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals since 1994. We specialize in loading containers of loose scrap metal. Infect, we are one of the first one's to export steel scrap metal loose in containers from South Africa. It was exported in break bulk prior to independence. As the prices of steel have increased by more then 600% in last few years, there is more and more need for processing industries like ours.Our company employs over 200 professionals combined together. Our lines of operations include procurement of scrap metal from 36 cities spread over 10 countries. At present we export containerized scrap metal to 12 countries and ports spread across 7 countries.The Afroindia boast a client base of over 50 customers. We also have a supply base of over 600 suppliers spread across the globe. The directors have a big client base in India since 1985. The business started with exporting non-ferrous scrap metal like Copper Berry, Candy, Berry no.2, Birch, Aluminum (Talk, Tense, Taint/Tabor & Extrusion), Zinc ( Dross & Ash) from gulf countries. At present moment, we have been supplying steel scrap to various small industries in north India and have established a good reputation for the quality of our material. We are regularly exporting scrap metal to South Asian which have a very strong quality norms
