The AfroGreen Movement is a not-for-profit organisation of environmental conservationists working at the grassroots, national, regional, and international levels to improve the quality of life for People and our Planet by sustainably empowering communities to mitigate climate change, abate global warming and reduce Greenhouse gas emissions. We tenaciously advocate for a more inclusive and human-centred approach to environmental-conscious policy formulation processes and the scaling up of local innovative solutions that improve people's quality of life; by promoting better environmental governance, a sustainable inclusive future, and improve their socio-economic livelihoods to inculcate a just transition towards green, sustainable, and climate-resilient communities.By sourcing inspiration from nature, our main objective is to forge a resource centre that nurtures a cadre of negotiators capable of taking-up Environmental Diplomacy at the national and multilateral levels, as well as support the empowerment of local communities to become better advocates and participate in public policy discourse that brings implementation to scale and promote the sustainable use of natural resources. The AfroGreen Movement uses Ecosystem-based Adaptation and innovative green technologies to restore, rehabilitate, protect and conserve both life on land and below water. We are committed to protecting nature and biodiversity as the most valuable resources and treasures that we have in the course of our work by conserving all forms of environmental, animal, marine, and human life.
