AFS New Zealand has been providing student and teacher exchanges since 1947. Over 10,000 participants have been immersed in 52 cultures, on programmes ranging from 12 weeks to one year. AFS New Zealand also works with volunteers across New Zealand to host students from other other countries on their exchanges.AFS New Zealand also manages Go Kiwi Go volunteer experiences. Go Kiwi Go works with those over 18 (oldest person to date is 87), who wish to volunteer overseas. Volunteer experiences can provide more meaningful holidays, be part of a holiday experience.Go Kiwi Go also provides an opportunity for professional development with the completion of a Global Competence Certification.
