AFTV5 is a NGO founded in March 12, 2012. AFTV5 is organized under 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation laws of the state of Texas USA.Television Medias- AFTV5 strives to create television programs that are compelling to local, national and international audiences. By telling stories that address universal topics such as community, economy, creativity, leadership, technology, as well as art and culture via our 24/7 online programming (available on http://aftv5.com/watch-our-broadcast/), we look to engage and educate viewers from all parts of the world. Conference- AFTV5 hosts an annual U.S.-Africa Cultural Expo and Business Matchmaking conference in order to foster cultural exchange, as well as bilateral trade, commerce, economic development between the people and business enterprises of the United States and the nation states of Africa.Collaborations- AFTV5 provides an opportunity to get a creative idea for a show off the ground and running. We provide individual, non-profit organizations as well as businesses, the tools and resources to creatively express themselves through the production of original television programs. Our collaborators are also given access to our broadcast channels for distribution via online streaming. Anyone with an idea and interest in turning it into a program can work with AFTV5 staff to get it off the ground. Our goal through this program is to provide everyone a chance to showcase his or her ideas and concerns with the global community.Training programs- AFTV5 offers a variety of training and workshops including free monthly Orientations to get viewers on their way to working on their own shows and exploring the latest video production technologies.Low cost value-added services - Realizing that not everyone has the time or the staff to take advantage of resources that AFTV5 offers free of charge, AFTV5 provides production services to non¬-profit organizations and to the community at a reasonable rate.
