I John 4:8\\To never turn away a child in need is the foundation on which Agape House is based, and a promise we make to those who seek our help. Through spiritual, emotional, psychological, and physiological programs for teen girls and young adult women, as well as counseling for families and the greater community, we have welcomed girls from all walks of life who have struggled with different forms of abuse and seek ways to cope with the effects.\\Agape House offers hope and healing to abused or distressed girls ages 12 through 28 through four ministry programs including Christian counseling services, mentoring relationships, educational programming and cultural arts experiences, and a safe home. Our Agape Angels are nurtured and guided to overcome the effects of abuse and past hurts through the gentle leadership and grace-filled support of staff and volunteers who are committed to healing broken lives. \\Our successful programs enable girls and young women to grow in their self-esteem, overcome abuse and stop self-destructive behaviors. Through the loving guidance of a dedicated, professional team, those who participate in our programs achieve academic growth and mature into independent adults who lead healthy, productive lives.
