Here at Age UK Solihull, we are a trusted friend to older people - providing information, advice and practical help throughout the Solihull borough. Age UK Solihull is a brand partner to the national Age UK charity, but we are a local charity. All the money we raise for our services stays in the Solihull borough. Our registered charity number is 1055887.Our services include: Information & Advice through the Community Advice Hubs at Solihull Central and Chelmsley Wood libraries; Linking People Together Service; Home Support; Postural Stability Classes, Direct Payments; Benefits and Attendance Allowance Visiting Services; Community Energy Support Project and Winter Warmth (delivering energy efficiency advice and crisis intervention to reduce fuel poverty in vulnerable groups).To help fund our services, we have an active fundraising department - look out for events and activities.We have three charity shops located in Solihull Town Centre (opposite John Lewis), Hobs Moat and Castle Bromwich and also operate an online Ebay site.
