The Provincial Energy Management Agency of Cádiz (APEC) is a nonprofit foundation with funding by the Provincial Government of Cádiz. It was created in 2006 within the framework of the Intelligent Energy for Europe and since then has worked hard for the purposes to motivate and promote energy saving, the energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies and sustainable modes of utilizing the province's natural resources.Operating with the philosophy of "think globally, act locally", APEC is committed to local action and public awareness. APEC works every day in close contact with local public entities and other key stakeholders, developing and disseminating efficient energy management and sustainable actions throughout the province.
