Aggie House is an organization operating a student-run transitional housing shelter for UC Davis students experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness. Data from the ASUCD-GSA Housing Affordability and Insecurity Survey shows that over the course of the 2017-18 school year, 18% of UC Davis students experienced either homelessness or some form of housing insecurity. Our program seeks to address this issue by providing additional emergency shelter options for students, while also taking an innovative approach of being community-based, as well as volunteer and student-led. Aggie House provides our residents with free shelter, meals, and case management to assist them in transitioning into permanent and stable housing.If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, apply for a bed at our shelter at aggiehouse.org.
