Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), established in 1992 as a constituent of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, is the 3rd best Agribusiness B-school in the country. Agriculture has long been seen as a sector with tremendous potential in India. In the past few years, there has been an unprecedented growth in the initiatives taken by the government and private sector to meet the rising challenges of the sector. There is a felt need for professionalism and promotion of Agribusiness in the country. These challenges call for a creative and innovative think-tank. It is in this context of promoting the young minds to think creatively and act smartly the SIIB holds the Agrisummit, the National level, flagship event of the Agribusiness Department. Agrisummit is a National level event. Over the years this event has served as a meeting point of various stakeholders of the sector – professionals, researchers, corporate, farmers, students – to convene and provide an opportunity to deliberate on the latest advances in theAgriculture Sector and the scope of its growth and contribution to national economy.
