Antico Borgo La Torre is a farm in Reggello, 27 km south-east from the centre of Florence, in a quiet, sunny position, surrounded by green fields. The property used to be a rural complex typical of Tuscany, with a history going back to medieval times. It is made of two main buildings and several outbuildings that have been renovated and converted into apartments for agritourism and events. The 32-hectare property includes olive groves and vineyards, a large natural garden and a small private lake.We produce excellent wine that is exclusively produced and bottled at the farm. Our Chianti DOCG is predominantly made from Sangiovese grapes and, to allow for added complexity of flavour, we add a small proportion of Canaiolo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. For our white Tuscan wine IGT we use Trebbiano, Malvasia and Vermentino grapes. Antico Borgo la Torre is the perfect place for both couples and families to relax and enjoy nature, but also the ideal base to enjoy the cultural heritage of Tuscany. We provide a great space for weddings and events. With two large halls in our splendid 18th century granary building and a professional kitchen we offer a tranquil and ‘exclusive rustic' setting for celebrations, seminars and workshops.
