Established in 2016, AIAA UT Dallas is the largest aerospace student organization on campus. We are an official student chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and are under the North Texas Section. Our organization is part of the University of Texas at Dallas' Student Organization Center and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. This group is intended for all majors interested in air and space but a greater emphasis is generally placed on engineering and computer science.
