Aifotec AG uses its expertise to assemble optical components and subsystems ("optical engines") mainly for optical communication systems. The specialty of optical component assembly lies in the precise positioning and attachment technique using eutectic bonding (laser spot size bonding with fill wafer capability as well as oven based large area bonding) and / or high precision gluing of mixed material components ("Hybrid Integration").
