AIGA, the professional association for design, is committed to furthering excellence in design as a broadly-defined discipline, strategic tool for business and cultural force. AIGA is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research and advance education and ethical practice. Formed in 2006, the South Dakota chapter serves the graphic design community and related fields within the great state of South Dakota. We offer a variety of events and programs throughout the year, that are open to members as well as the local design community and interested public. These programs range from discussions with well-known thought leaders to studio visits to student portfolio shows to social evenings.Our chapter is still young and is anticipating enormous growth. Our student membership is also growing and highly engaged, providing a healthy mix of creative professionals of all experience levels.
