Nonprofit Organization Management - Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom
AIMCommunity offers creative arts education and mentoring for young people for whom mainstream education has proved difficult to access. Offering bespoke packages of support for 7 to 19 year olds in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset, the opportunity to gain skills in digital art, animation, film making, photography, music, music technology, creative writing, art, dance and more, provides young people with a chance to flourish and succeed. However, it's far more than just doing creative things for the fun of it and offers students the opportunity to work towards GCSE and A Level equivalent qualifications, opening up the world of work with work experience and guest mentors as well as attaining maths, English and ICT.Based around our three core values of HOPE, HOME and WHOLE, the unique blend of creative education in a warm, positive atmosphere enables young people to far exceed their own, and others, expectations.Whether an hour a week of mentoring or a four full day a week course, the menu approach of AIMCommunity's offer means that we are able to adapt to individual needs in a way that larger educational and youth support programmes are unable to.
