Air Travellers Association is a national level non-profitable public welfare society registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the Registrar of Societies, Delhi on 22nd May, 2013.The Air Travellers Association aims to become the voice of Air Travellers and empower them through:-1) Promoting and protecting the safety and comfort of all air travellers.2) Enhancing customer service, amenities and accessibility standards.3) Ensuring rational charges.4) Interacting, educating and empowering Air Travellers.5) Representing Air Travellers to the policymakers in Government and related bodies.6) Addressing grievances of members by using legal process, if required.7) Maximizing their satisfaction.All the income, earnings, movable and immovable properties of the Association shall be solely utilized and applied towards promotion of its aims and objectives. The accounts of the Association shall be periodically audited by a qualified Chartered Accountant and shall also be submitted to the Registrar of Societies.The day-to-day functions of the Association shall be carried out by a Professional Governing Body which includes its President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and any other position as may be deemed fit. The Governing Body Members shall meet periodically for determining the strategic direction and implementing the guidelines formulated by it.The Association is regulated by well defined internal Rules & Regulations and its membership shall be open to Air Travellers in General and approved by its Governing Body at a nominal fee through a transparent and well established procedure.
