Airesbuenos Hostel and Permaculture is centrally located in downtown Valdiva. We offer affordable, tasteful accommodations for world travelers. We are also an urban permaculture site that demonstrates sustainable ecological design. We are adding an greenhouse and passive solar heating system, rainwater catchment and organic garden with construction to begin early April 1010. We have a forest retreat and forest pharmacy, located just 25 minutes from our city location. Valdivia is a beautiful city, called the "Pearl of the Southern Chile". It is also the capital of the Region de los Lagos, (the region of the rivers). This bustling city is the a major cultural and economic center in Chile. Located on the only navigable river in South America, Valdivia is skirted by three rivers. Come to Valdivia and enjoy the temperate rain forests that surround us with the hospitality of southern Chile.
