Airport Business Development (ABD) provides local governments with an alternative form of airport management to improve customer service and reduce operating expenses. Many City and County governments own and operate municipal airports that are subsidized by the general fund and not self sustaining requiring the taxpayers to provide ongoing financial, operational and overhead support. Many other municipalities operate their airport assets at a slight profit and or break even providing the opportunity to unlock economic growth by exploring alternative forms of management. ABD has developed an airport management service that aggregates and standardizes airport business processes resulting in improved service levels to airport tenants and reduced operating costs to the airport owner.ABD can provide these services on a temporary or long-term lease basis providing cities, counties and airport authorities with operational flexibility in the management of their airport facilities.
