From Montevideo to Buenos Aires to Budapest, Madrid and Florence to New York, Andrea has constantly found herself reinventing home. Each place bears its own influence in her work. The colors and textures of the lush, remote estancias of Uruguay, Argentina's windswept pampas, and the beguiling majesty of Renaissance cities throughout Europe have all marked Andrea's sensibilities.While living in Europe, Andrea specialized in creating new spaces within centuries-old, established layouts. Playful workarounds became a natural part of her artistic process. Her aspiration is to help others find a way in, to add, discard, repurpose, and in the process, rediscover.The world is a very different place than it was in 2019. Now is the time to reassess, to visualize changes in spatial organization, and to create those mini sanctuaries that allow us to rejuvenate and disconnect from it all.
