AkonLabs is a nonprofit organization that fosters innovative ideas by integrating scientific approach with local knowledge to provide cutting-edge solutions for the highly diversified social cultural Indonesian landscape. By applying social-behavioral sciences to cultural change, we device platforms that prioritizes collaborations in the sharing and building of knowledge. We hope to strengthen the democratic process, policy making, education, science literacy, technological innovation and creative endeavor in Indonesia, that is highly adaptive to local needs. We believe Indonesia's pluralistic landscape as a strong asset to create leaps of human innovation that thus must be preserved and coupled with advances in science as our response to the ever changing landscape of the global world.
