AKVE foundation is young and still in its infancy. The vision is simple to highlight the undiscovered issue of the digital divide that affects 86% of Indian kids ranging from age 3-17. During times of pandemic, these students miss out on their 9 months or 1-year education due to a lack of online educational facilities. It was an appreciable step for schools to promptly shift to online medium in order to minimise the losses incurred by students. But the prevalent digital-divide that was lurking in shadows until now came to light as many underprivileged students lost on their studies for the session. AKVE has simple taken its first and small step towards this vital issue of the digital divide and we sure have a long way to go. It is a difficult task that we have signed up for yet we believe that the digital divide is minimised by spreading awareness, then this could also be a key solution for underprivileged students to escape their vicious cycle of not missing out on education. Few places in Africa are working on similar lines, therefore we believe that it's not an impossible dream. AKVE wishes to spread awareness with love, joy, fun and creatively, by conducting dancing and singing classes through online means. We wish to deliver a bold message that if a child can attend Passion Classes (singing, dancing, etc. ) and successfully master these co-curricular classes online, then imparting quality education is not a far fetched dream.
