Non-Profit - Salisbury, ENG, UK
Alabaré was founded out of the simple act of providing a place of safety for one homeless man, Bob. Over the years, our charity has grown and developed way beyond those initial ambitions, but our goal remains to help people who are homeless or vulnerable build bright futures, homes and minds for themselves. We help them transform their lives, providing accommodation and helping them gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to live a fulfilled life. Today, we support thousands of people each year through our homes and services across England and Wales: people who are homeless, veterans, young people, and people with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Our founding principles of care, compassion, generosity and respect have remained the guiding force of our work. As part of our supported long-term homes across England and Wales, we also run Alabaré Homes for Veterans and two Wiltshire Development Centres that provide training courses and a care service for learning disability clients living in supported accommodation. We welcome people of all faiths and none to our homes and to be part of Alabaré. With a terrific team and a growing body of volunteers who help run our day-to-day activities, we welcome your support and encouragement, whether you are an individual, business, or school. Our corporate partners work alongside us, and we support them by helping them to meet their ESG aims. Each year, we run several high-profile events and engagement opportunities and invite our partners to provide sponsorship and pro-bono support. This helps to ensure every penny raised can go straight to build a bright future, homes and minds. It also enables our partners to boost their profile in front of a wide range of businesses and supporters across the UK. We can work with each partner to find the right opportunity from our upcoming selection of fundraising charity events.
