Alana Athletica is a new yoga apparel company started by three co-founders (two former management consultants and a designer who has extensive experience working with major fashion brands such as Victoria Secret). Their goal is to create a high-quality product and build a community that is driven by a simple philosophy - that women deserve to feel supported, empowered, and confident. As part of this mission, Alana is partnering with Emerge Lanka, an organization in Sri Lanka that educates, employs, and empowers girl-abuse survivors - these abuse survivors are joining Alana's production team and receiving apparel training, counseling and employment.Alana Athletica's hope is that their unique product, paired with a mission that transcends the traditional business model to create a global community where women enable unity, safety, and confidence by supporting one another, will drive growth and success in the market.
