ALAS is the Professional Surfing Tour in Latin America. Since 2014, ALAS is recognized by the ISA (International Surfing Association).ALAS (Tour Professional Latino Americano de Surf) was founded in 2001, and the first competitions was held in 2003, by Karin Sierralta and Antonio Sotillo. Both of them have as strong professional background as athletes and sport leaders. Karin is Vice-President of the International Surfing Association (ISA) since 2008.Our mission:Being a unique Professional Latin Surf Tour offering equal opportunities to talented athletes so as to reach high performance level.Our slogan: "Passion & Inspiration"Our 4 fundamental values: Evolution - Equal opportunity - Respect - ExperienceOur objectives:- To promote, develop and encourage surfing throughout the Latin American continent.- To train and promote young talents to be able to compete at the international scale, for the Lima 2019 Pan American Games, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and against the best athletes of the World Surf League.- To guarantee the concept of fair play games. - To Protect and preserve the ocean, the beaches and the environment.
